Winter Birthday Celebration | Virginia Children’s Photographer

Mavis! How are you possibly a year old? I was so excited to welcome Mavis to the studio to celebrate her first birthday – especially since I photographed her newborn portraits when she came last February. It was so good to see her and her mother again for our first birthday portraits. Instead of a cake smash, Mavis’s mother decided to do some fun milestone portraits. We decided to go with a winter rustic inspired session and I had a great time designing her set.

Mavis was a blast during her session, laughing and smiling at me! She certainly made my job very easy!! I can’t get enough of her smile – even now. Birthday celebrations don’t have to be about a cake smash if you don’t want! These sweet babies still have fun just playing around in the studio and you have some adorable portraits to celebrate with.
