Winter Maternity and Newborn Sessions with VA Newborn Photographer

This beautiful family has been a dream to work with! I first met Ankur, her husband Avi and their daughter for their maternity portraits last winter! We met up for a gorgeous session at Alum Springs only to find the park had flooded, so we headed over to my favorite little farm and it turned out to be even better! They were all so excited to chat about their sweet new baby girl on the way, who was due in the new year. Ankur chose a few beautiful gowns to use for her maternity portraits. I love how elegant everything looked!! Despite the chilly weather, she looked absolutely stunning and we had a great time.

Because they had booked a maternity and newborn bundle, we all anxiously awaited their gorgeous girl’s arrival! Before we knew it, their baby arrived in the middle of January! I was so excited when they came to the studio to celebrate. We used similar colors in the newborn session, which was a lot of fun. I love seeing themes like that carried on in portraits - especially like this! The beautiful reds, pinks, and purple were absolutely perfect for a winter baby and it was so much fun to watch the girls. I love seeing sisters come in the studio! (I’m a little biased, I suppose!!).
